Description
It is our pleasure to invite you and a guest to the upcoming concert "Now and Then: A Jazz Legacy at Cal State LA." This event will take place Monday, May 6, 2024, with a reception at 6 p.m. in the Music Courtyard followed by a concert at 7 p.m. in the State Playhouse.
This promises to be a very special evening as we explore Cal State LA’s jazz legacy "now and then." The concert will feature music compositions and arrangements by past and current students and faculty including Jose Arellano, David Caffey, Jack Cooper, Bob Curnow, Paul De Castro, James Newton and Lennie Niehaus.
