See What I See
Performed reflections from the frontline
· Racial Inequity
· Police brutality
· COVID-19
· Essential workers
· The election
Through a mixture of live-streamed performance and pre-recorded video, students from the Departments of Music, Art and Theatre & Dance, share their lived experiences through collaboratively created performed events live-streamed to the public.
Cal State LA students represent the heart and soul of this city. The majority are first-generation, first in their families to go to college, live in mix-documented homes, receive financial aid to support their educational goals, and care for either a younger sibling or ailing elder of the family. They and their families are also essential workers and, due to their work and economic struggles, their communities are most directly affected by the coronavirus, as well as the evils of this current administration regarding immigration and more.
They are on the frontline of our current cultural, economic and health crisis. Watch and engage with their inspiring determination and resilience!
All performances are Free.
All performances will be LIVE streamed on the Cal State LA Theatre Facebook page!
