NETWORK LEADERSHIP
Daniel D. Jarrous (’08)
President, Colonial Inc.
Daniel grew up in Southern California and helped in his family’s auto repair business before attending college at University of California, San Diego on a full scholarship. While attending the University of California, San Diego he worked at Staples for extra money. In May of 1999, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban Studies and Planning. After that, he worked for a few different companies as an Architectural/Mechanical Designer in many leadership roles. Starting in 2002, Daniel started working as a Project Engineer for Nack and Associates, Inc. and it was here that he realized he wanted to return to school and obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

While at Cal State LA, he won an internship at JPL laboratory working with MFDC laboratory doing work with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He was also on the Honor Roll and Dean’s List while raising his son. As senior project team leader, he united all the engineering disciplines to do one large project for the first time. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008.
After leaving California State, Los Angeles, he went on to obtain my Master of Science Degree in Project Management from University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 2020 and then founded his own company, Colonial. Company projects embrace construction, engineering, and solar.
He currently lives in Temecula, California, where he raises three children and all the stray animals they can bring home.
