Born and raised in India, Harshit Kapadia came to the US roughly five years ago in pursuit of higher education. In 2017, he joined the CBE as an Accounting and Business Information System major and has been trailblazing ever since.
As Treasurer of Beta Alpha Psi and a Student Advisor for the Financial Management Association (FMA), cites his biggest influence as Nikita Lau. “She influenced all CBE students to do their best and network to build meaningful connections for future job opportunities.” Paying the advice forward, he strongly urges other up and coming students to join student organizations to hone their professional skills. In fact, the blueprint, according to Harshit, looks a little something like this: “Utilize LinkedIn, practice your elevator pitch, improve your networking skills, research interview tips, sharpen your professional resume and maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher.”
When he graduates in Spring 2021, he hopes to work in either an accounting (audit) role or in the CIS field as an IT analyst.
Outside of school, Harshit enjoys working out, enjoying nature, and binge-watching Designated Survivor.
