Description
Join us for a screening of the short documentary Urban Seeds, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Lani Cupchoy, assistant professor of Chicana(o) and Latina(o) Studies at Cal State LA. Urban Seeds highlights the story of a school-based garden movement, and the fight for food justice and Indigenous-based food knowledge in Montebello Unified School District. Light refreshments will be served.
