After more than a year of masking, social distancing, economic despair, and immense human casualties, the Covid-19 pandemic has taken its toll on the world in an unprecedented way. A once-in-a-century pandemic was an important opportunity for historians to reflect on and process with our larger Cal State LA community. Compiled as a special feature, these reflections became part of Quarantine Collection: Covid-19 and Cal State LA. This collaborative, interactive inquiry into Covid-19 and other major events in 2020 and 2021 invited our fellow Golden Eagles to take part in recording the earliest histories of the pandemic. In Quarantine Collection, readers will find visual exhibitions, reflections authored by students, alumni, and faculty, as well as social media engagements related to a variety of pandemic experiences.
