The Billie Jean King and Friends Event is the major fund-raiser for the athletics department with proceeds benefiting the student-athlete scholarship fund at Cal State L.A. Honorees: Billie Jean King’s former CSULA coaches, Dr. Joan Johnson and Scotty Deeds. (Tennis clinics available in the morning on the CSULA campus.)
