Talk “Scandal”ous

Let’s talk TV with the Pan African Student Resource Center. From hit TV shows like Scandal and Being Mary Jane, to the creative minds behind them like Shonda Rhimes or Mara Brock Akil, this “scandal”ous talk will focus on the complex dynamics of Black women representations in media – specifically television. With the 3rd season of Scandal starting tonight, Thursday, 10/3/13, this timely discussion will raise awareness of how Black women are represented and viewed on U.S. television.
