INTRODUCTION
Carolyn R. Frank is Professor Emeritus in the Charter College of Education at California State University, Los Angeles. She is a past Director of the Los Angeles Writing Project at Cal State LA.
TEACHING INTERESTS
Dr. Frank previously taught elementary teachers about writing instruction and is now involved with supervising student teachers. Her research includes how to observe writer's workshop classes through ethnography, how to do home visits, and how to participate in ethnographic interviews with children and parents.
