- Therapeutic Exercise
Our approach is to pair clients with Kinesiology student trainers. Under the supervision of senior training staff, student trainers assess the goals and needs of their clients and create an individualized training program. Potential exercise sessions may include, but are not limited to, training in strength, over ground walking, balance and coordination, range of motion, flexibility, and functional mobility.
- Locomotor Training (BWST)
We have special expertise with locomotor training, in particular with a body weight support and treadmill (BWST) system. Our students are trained in harness application, load bearing exercise, and administering manual assistance of kinematic movements during walking. These modifications enable individuals with severely limited motor ability to get out of their wheelchair and experience upright standing exercise.
