We welcome you to Cal State LA and look forward to having you move in!
The information below will assist you in transitioning into our Housing community. We recommend you review the following: License Agreement and Student Guides. All important information is sent to your Cal State LA email, so please check that frequently.
See Move-In information below!
Important Note: To ensure a smooth Move-In process, Spring 2025 Housing payments must be made in full, or a Housing Payment Plan must be established with a minimum 20% payment of the housing cost, by January 16, 2025. Residents who have not completed their payment by this date may not be able to move in as planned. We appreciate your attention to this matter!
Move-in Schedule: Spring 2025
Move-In is between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. January 17, 2025.
There will be no check-ins from 12-1 p.m.
All residents have been assigned a check-in appointment time. You can check your specific appointment time on the homepage of your Housing portal. See below for more information on this.
Please make sure to adhere to the time you were assigned to help reduce crowding and limit the number of people in areas.
Before you move in...
You will need your One Card to check in on Move-In day.
For South Village residents, your One Card is your room key.
For ALL residents, your One Card is how you use your Meal Plan and declining dollars.
Step 1: Order
Visit the One Card Office website for the steps on obtaining a One Card. Upload a passport-style photo for your One Card.
Step 2: Pick up
Pick up your card at your orientation day or at the One Card Office during business hours.
