The 2018 Faculty Retreat was held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Luminarias Restaurant. Dean Scott-Johnson kicked off the all-day retreat by welcoming the attendees and congratulating all on a successful academic year. She acknowledged faculty who were promoted, NSS staff and faculty who were named Distinguished Women by the University, and faculty who received the Faculty Mentor Honoree recognition by the University.
Faculty gave an overview of their research in a "lightning talk" format with a Q &A session that followed. Attendees also engaged in the team-building activities, Memory Wall and an NSS office trivia game.
