William M. London (Public Health) has been appointed editor of the free, independent weekly e-newletter Consumer Health Digest, Jan. 2018. He served as associate editor from 2002 to 2017. The newsletter summarizes scientific reports, legislative developments, enforcement actions, news reports, and other information relevant to consumer protection and consumer decision-making. An update to a chapter, "The Precautionary Principle," by Professor London and Cal State LA alumna Yazmin Amado Vu, in Oxford Bibliographies - Public Health was posted online in Jan. 2018. It was originally published in 2013.

Patrick B. Sharp (Liberal Studies) co-edited the anthology, Sisters of Tomorrow: The First Women of Science Fiction, published by Wesleyan, June 7, 2016. The book features a collection of stories, essays, poems and illustrations by women in early science fiction.
