Students of finance who qualify may join the Financial Management Association, the national honor society for finance and the campus' Eta chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, the national honor society for business. They also may join the campus chapters of Golden Key and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies which are open to qualified students in all academic disciplines. Beta Gamma Sigma
Beta Gamma Sigma is the national honor society for AACSB-accredited business programs. BGS was founded in 1913. Their mission is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business. Membership in BGS is the highest international recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral program at a school accredited by the AACSB. To be eligible, you must rank in the top 7% of the junior class, top 10% of the senior class, or top 20% of the graduating master's class. Membership is by invitation.

Golden Key
The mission of Golden Key National Honor Society, a nonprofit academic honors organization, is to recognize and encourage scholastic achievement and excellence in all undergraduate fields of study, to unite with faculty and administrators in developing and maintaining high standards of education, to provide economic assistance to outstanding members by means of both undergraduate and graduate scholarships, and to promote altruistic conduct through voluntary service.

Phi Kappa Phi
The primary objectives of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi are to promote the pursuit of excellence in all fields of higher education and to recognize outstanding achievement by students, faculty and others through election to membership and through various awards for distinguished achievement. The Society is convinced that in recognizing and honoring those persons of good character who have excelled in scholarship, in whatever field, it will stimulate others to strive for excellence.

Financial Management Association
The Financial Management Association assists in the professional, educational, and social development of college students interested in finance, banking, and investments. The club provides an association for college students actively interested in these fields. The club also encourages interaction between business executives, faculty, and students of business and finance. The FMA also has an honors program for finance students with minimum 3.2 GPA. There are many benefits to joining the club. The FMA meets on Mondays @ 4:20 - 6:00 pm in ST 712.
