Computational Molecular Science Summer Research

Cal State LA - MolSSI Partnership for Research and Education in Chemistry is offering a 9-week summer program for undergraduate and community college students in the Los Angeles region to perform research in the field of computational molecular science.

What to Expect

Hands-on Computational Research

Faculty-lead mentored research into computational molecular science and machine learning.

Professional Development

Activities, including workshops on understanding scientific identity and applying to graduate school, and poster presentations.

Financial Assistance

Students will receive a $5400 stipend for nine-weeks in the summer.

Community Building Excursions

Fostering teamwork and innovation through shared experiences.

Conference Participation

Building knowledge and network at professional forums

High Performance Computing

Enhancing research and solving complex problems with high performance computing
