Welcome to the Charter College of Education (CCOE) at California State University, Los Angeles.  We are excited to have you join the first and only public college of education in the nation with the distinguished “charter” identity, and look forward to you partaking in our collective commitment of leading educators to transform public education. This collective identity allows us to be a complementary college within Cal State L.A. – a state comprehensive university with an urban mission of engagement, service and the public good.

 

You are joining a community of scholars dedicated to advancing knowledge and developing leadership in over 60 programs at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels, including professional certificates and credentials in teacher education, education administration, and counseling.  As a CCOE student you are invited to actively engage in a learning community that will challenge and promote your intellectual growth through research, creative projects and professional development.
