The Graduate Student and Faculty Mentor Recognition Reception recognize the accomplishments of current graduate students who have in the past year presented a paper at a regional, national, or international professional conference, authored or coauthored a publication, and/or received a special award or recognition for their scholarship and creative activity.
In addition, we recognize faculty mentors who provide valuable guidance to graduate students. All faculty mentors are invited and encouraged to attend the reception as appreciation for the support they provide our students. One faculty mentor from each college will be profiled to highlight their mentorship activities that promote graduate student research, scholarship, and creative activity. The Office of Graduate Studies solicits nominations during Spring semester.
