The California Anthropologist is a scholarly journal edited and published by students in the Department of Anthropology at California State University, Los Angeles. The California Anthropologist publishes timely articles dealing with the physical, natural, and social sciences which deal with human biology, cultural behavior, archeology, and the development of the study of anthropology. The California Anthropologist is dedicated to furthering the study of humans by providing a forum for presentation of ideas and methods in anthropology and related fields.
The opinions of the authors presented in this journal do not reflect those of California State University, Los Angeles; its Anthropology Department; or the editorial board of the California Anthropologist. Rebuttals or other responses to views published are welcome and will be treated under the same guidelines as other submissions.
