The Rare and Unique Books Collections include examples of fine printing; signed and/or limited editions; works published before 1800; and rare, unique, fragile, or irreplaceable works.

The Manuscript Collections are comprised of local Los Angeles history, film and music collections, and a range of political materials that make up the dynamic cultures of Southern California.
