During the week of February 22nd-26th, 2021, our celebration will highlight the important contributions engineers, computer scientists, and technologists make in our everyday lives and the ways they are "Imagining Tomorrow."
In addition, Cal State LA’s ECST Alumni Network invites alumni and current students to join a professional networking session with Google Engineer Albert Cervantes on February 23rd. This special event requires its own RSVP found below.

In celebration of National Engineers Week, the ECST Alumni Network invites alumni and current students for a professional networking session. This event will feature special guest speaker alumnus Albert Cervantes (’07), Software Engineering Manager at Google. Join us as we learn about life at a tech giant like Google and tips to succeed in this industry.

3:00- 4:30 p.m. Host: SWE and Code Brew Students will be introduced to the field of computer science by learning how to construct a social media link-in-bio page using GitHub, HTML/CSS, and intermediate web topics such as GitHub and Bootstrap. Together, we will review basic HTML components such as buttons, links, and images and learn how to customize the styling of their page using CSS. |
