College of ECST Orientation for Incoming Freshmen
Incoming freshmen in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology (ECST) are required to attend a two-day orientation consisting of: a) one orientation offered by the University's New Student and Parent Programs office (GE Orientation); and b) a second orientation offered by the College of ECST (College Orientation), which usually takes place one day before the GE Orientation.
1. University Orientation - The Golden Eagle (GE) Orientation is organized by the University's New Student and Parent Programs office. Only students who paid the Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD) by the deadline, May 1st, will be invited to register for a Fall 2019 orientation on specific dates designated to each college. Make sure to follow the instructions to register. The university REQUIRES that all students attend the GE Orientation.
2. College Orientation - The College of ECST offers a separate college orientation for incoming freshmen students centered around the programs and services offered by the college. The ECST College Orientation is usually held one day before the GE Orientation. You DO NOT need to register for the ECST College Orientation separately. Once you register for one of the GE Orientations, we will expect you to attend the corresponding ECST College Orientation as indicated below.
