Verification

After you submit your FAFSA or CADAA, you may be asked to submit additional documents. This process is called verification. Every year, 30% of Cal State L.A. students are selected for verification. As part of the verification process, the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office is required to request specific documentation from the student to support the information reported on the FAFSA or CADAA.

If you  are selected for verification, we will send a notification to your Cal State LA Email directing you to your To Do List on GET.  You are required to submit the requested documentation to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office by the document submission deadline. Failure to do so may result in the loss of priority file review and funding eligibility.
