Library Services for LACHSA, Stern MASS, and LAUSD High Schools
The Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and Stern MASS High School are both located on the campus of Cal State LA. The University Library provides services to all members of the LACHSA & Stern MASS campuses, as well as students and teachers at all LAUSD High Schools. Our library is your library!
Apply for a borrowing account in-person at the first-floor service desk Library North, with your current student ID card. Please follow the borrowing policies and note your borrowing term limits.
High School Guidelines for University Library Usage
- Classroom Usage: Teachers at LACHSA and Stern MASS may reserve orientation sessions led by a librarian (how to use the library catalog, search for articles using a database, etc.) at least two weeks in advance. Electronic classroom availability during the regular school year will be limited due to university usage and will be determined on a case‐by-case basis. For more information, contact:
- Kendall Faulkner, LACHSA Liaison Librarian
- Sheree Fu, Stern MASS Liason Librarian
- Media: Students may not check out media materials or use the media viewing rooms for entertainment purposes. Teachers are welcome to check out library media materials for use in class.
High school borrowers are expected to follow Cal State LA University Library policies at all times.
