Cal State LA is well-represented at the Coummunity Development Commission/Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles with four of our public administration graduates currently working for the organization. From left to right in the photo are:
Claudia Rincon, Administrative Analyst

Claudia Rincon began her career with the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles in 2006. At the beginning of her career, Claudia worked as a case manager under the Assisted Housing Division. Shortly after earning her Master’s degree at Cal State LA, she received a promotion and is currently working as a Staff Development Analyst for the agency. A big part of Claudia’s success, is due to the knowledge she gained in the MSPA program. Claudia completed her undergraduate work at the University of California Riverside.
Angelina Romero, Administrative Analyst

Angelina Romero began her career with the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles/ Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles in 2010 as a Case Manager. She simultaneously began the MSPA program at Cal State LA and advanced to a Lead Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator and was ultimately promoted to an Administrative Analyst specializing in marketing and communication. Angelina forged strong friendships while attending CSULA and continues to network with colleagues. The knowledge and practical lessons from classes taken such as Policy Analysis, Community Development Administration and Sustainable Cities contributed to her success in the field of community development. Angelina completed her undergraduate studies at California State University, Fullerton.
Elisa Vasquez, Manager

While finishing the Master's program, Elisa began working for the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles. After serving in various capacities, she advanced to the position of Intergovernmental Relations Manager/Public Information Officer. She has held that position since 2007. She forged strong friendships while at Cal State LA and has seen her colleagues find success in their careers, due in large part to having graduated from the MSPA program. Elisa completed her undergraduate work at Loyola Marymount University.
Zolzaya Myagmar, Education Coordinator

One year after completing the MSPA program at Cal State LA, Zolzaya began working for the Community Development Foundation of the County of Los Angeles. With the knowledge she gained from the MSPA program, she has been successfully managing the Housing Authority Resident Scholarship program and also serving as a website developer for the Housing Management Division. Prior to joining the Housing Authority of the County of Los Angeles, Zolzaya was working on several Netflix series, and movie projects such as Interstellar, Hobbit, Jupiter Ascending, and Chappie.
