Summary of Qualifications

I teach fundamentals of biochemistry and plant molecular biology to undergraduate and graduate students. I work with students to translate scientific concepts into a defined research program. Currently my laboratory is researching the structure and function of a C-to-U RNA editing complex including an enzyme called the DYW-deaminase.
