Juniper Morales Juniper (Luis) Morales is a first-generation student starting their senior year at CSULA. Juniper attended Pasadena City College where they discovered a passion for chemistry, before continuing their academic journey at CSU Los Angeles where they joined the Selke lab through the MORE Bridges To The Future Program. Juniper is currently studying the generation and reactivity of 1O2 within zeolite frameworks and metal organic frameworks. |

Bliss Tarfolla-Aguirre Bliss Joan Tafolla-Aguirre is an undergraduate Biochemistry major and Forensic Science minor at CSULA. As a MARC scholar, she conducts photochemical research in Dr. Selke’s lab. Her project aims to investigate the capability of Resveratrol and its derivatives as antioxidants against a reactive oxygen species, singlet oxygen. Her main research interests for graduate school revolve around drug design, development, and the repurposing of drugs already available on the market. |

Jin (Andrew) H. Yoon Jin H. graduated from UCLA with BSc. in Biochemistry. After his undergraduate, he joined UCLA Pathology department to investigate CGCG and PGCG with Dr. Y.L.Lin. While at CSULA, he is studying Organic and inorganic chemistry. His research interests are singlet oxygen/reactions and MOFs engineering. |
