The University completed an information technology (IT) strategic plan to support and align with the Cal State LA Strategic Plan. The scope of this strategic plan encompasses technology services across the University, including both academic and administrative areas.
This effort lasted over a year and is the outcome of a collaborative process that engaged over 727 participants from across the University, including leadership, students, faculty, and staff. This process engaged stakeholders in multiple ways including; a kickoff session to introduce the process, on-site focus groups and interviews, web collaborative sessions, an online survey, strategic planning work sessions, and town hall sessions. This allowed for a broad understanding of current IT operations, challenges, opportunities, and priorities.
