ITS Multimedia Services offers a range of services including hybrid events, livestreaming, and webinar support. A hybrid event combines an in-person event with a virtual online component (Zoom webinar or YouTube). A livestream is a virtual broadcast without audience interaction, typically streamed on YouTube. Please note that all university in-person and virtual events must adhere to Accessible Event Planning guidelines. If the event is interactive, an ASL interpreter and live captions will be required.
Because of the logistics needed for presenting captions for an event, our department will need to submit the live caption request for your team. Please be prepared to provide your department chargeback number. Our team does not schedule ASL interpreters, your team will need to schedule an ASL interpreter by visiting the Event Services page of the Office for Students with Disabilities (OSD) website.
